Until today, the Roma have managed to develop a wide range of traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation.
They settled in the Târgu-Neamţ area in the 1960s and tried to integrate themselves among the Romanians by going to school to show their respect for their peers.
Although a large part of the customs have been lost due to the pace of social development, some traditions have managed to be maintained.
Speaking of evolution, Bulibaşa supports the importance of education for Roma children. A percentage of 80-90% of Roma children go to School No. 3 in Humulesti.
He believes that respect for teachers must be strengthened, children today being characterized as "being naughty".
An important aspect presented by the Roma community through the voice of Bulibaşa is that today they have water, sewerage and gas. The only dissatisfaction consists in the unpaved roads, especially Tăbăcarului Street and Ozanei Street.
They want to be "seen", to be "respected". They gave up traditions, they made sacrifices to be integrated. The girls walk around in pants and untied, the men have given up their mustaches and long hair. And yet the bulibaşa is dissatisfied with the evolution of things.
