Activity 4: Organization of capacity building actions and the acquisition of knowledge in the cultural and creative sectors through professional training programs and non-formal training

Expected Result:

Supporting cultural initiatives about the Roma minority

Indicators assumed in this activity:

5 persons of Roma ethnicity trained at the workplace; 70 people of Roma ethnicity targeted by capacity building measures

The specific objective to the fulfillment of which the activity contributes:  Facilitating access to cultural-artistic knowledge and attitudes through a vocational counseling program for 70 Roma people of which 35 will benefit from professional training and running 1 internship program for 5 Roma people, for 4 months.

Activity 4.1: Organization of information and vocational counseling sessions with an emphasis on identifying artistic skills for 70 people of Roma ethnicity

Implementation period:

  • Starting month – 6
  • Completion month - 7

Responsible: House of Culture "Ion Creangă" Târgu Neamț

Actions:

  • Identifying and contracting the provider of specialized vocational information and counseling services with an emphasis on artistic skills
  • Assessment of the skills and vocational interests of each of the 70 participants
  • Supporting the 70 people who are subject to employment measures to acquire the skills necessary for the transition to self-employment in the cultural-creative sectors
  • The meetings will be planned and organized through the multiple movement of human resources made available by the supplier in the localities targeted by the implementation of the project
  • Creating recommendation reports for each member of the target group on ways to implement an innovative business in the field of cultural and creative entrepreneurship.

Deliverable activity: 1 x Vocational information and counseling program with an emphasis on artistic skills organized. Verification sources: Initial assessment sheets; Aptitude sheets; Professional interest sheets; Observation sheets of practical sessions; Dominant inclinations recommendation sheets; Reports of collective meetings regarding professional information; Recommendation reports on ways to implement an innovative business in the field of cultural and creative entrepreneurship.

Activity 4.2: Organization of a non-formal vocational training program in the field of entrepreneurship in the cultural and creative sectors for 35 people for whom a strong inclination towards entrepreneurship and creativity resulted as a result of information sessions and vocational counseling

Implementation period:

  • Starting month – 7
  • Completion month - 8

Responsible: House of Culture "Ion Creangă" Târgu Neamț

Actions:

  • Identifying and contracting the accommodation and meal service provider for the course participants
  • The selection of the 35 people for whom a strong inclination towards entrepreneurship and creativity resulted as a result of the vocational information and counseling sessions, to participate in the vocational training program
  • Establishing the curriculum of the training program, including both the theoretical and the practical part
  • Organization of two course groups of 17/18 participants each
  • Running the training program, with a duration of 40 hours (8h/day x 5 days)

Deliverable activity: 1 x Non-formal vocational training program in the field of organized creative and cultural entrepreneurship. Verification sources: Presence list; Minutes of delivery-reception of accommodation, meal, transport services; Minutes of delivery-receipt of materials

support; ppt presentation; Schedule of deployment; Event report; Activity report of the trainer.

Activity 4.3: Organizing an on-the-job training program on trends and opportunities in the cultural and creative sectors for 5 Roma people

Implementation period:

  • Starting month – 8
  • Completion month - 9

Responsible: "Ion Creangă" House of Culture Târgu Neamț in collaboration with the National Athenaeum of Iasi

Actions:

  • Internship tutor recruitment – PP
  • Establishing the curriculum of the internship program and planning the activities that will be carried out, per day
  • Preparation of supporting documents to be used during the internship
  • Making available to the internship program the locations and the necessary material resources – Pp2
  • Conducting training activities within the internship program

Deliverable activity: 1 x On-the-job training program for 5 Roma people organized. Verification sources: On-the-job training contracts; Calendar of activities by day; Individual reports of the activities carried out; Tutor's report on the progress of the activities; Certificates certifying participation in the program; Attendance lists
